Home to some of the largest populations of big cats on the continent, as well as rhinos, crocodiles and more than 470 species of birds, the game viewing here is excellent. Between July and October each year the gathering herds of the Great Migration congregate on the plains surrounding the camp, providing an opportunity to perhaps witness their chaotic and dramatic crossing of the Mara River.
There can be few finer ways of spending a final morning on safari than by enjoying one of the park's most memorable experiences - a sunrise hot air balloon trip.
